I've read the other reviews and I think we were lucky because the pumpkins were in great mood and played for 2 hours and half singing 17 songs!
7,000 adoring fans crowded the stairs, I was just five meters from Billy, who before the show started walking near the crowd, and happily cheered us.
Then he went to the toilette, and all we saw it, and start to shout at him. Then he came out of the toilette, pretending of trying to be not seen.
He's rather a joking guy!
This was the setlist, the order of the songs could be wrong:
1) To Sheila: great! Very electric, better and better and better than the cd version.
2) Tear: one of my Adore favourite, this was a long and beautiful rock version
3) Once Upon A Time
4) Crestfallen
5) Ava Adore
6) Daphne Descends: all this songs from Adore where well played, often in fastest pace and in a more electric way than in the album.
7) Thru The Eyes Of Ruby: different from Mellon Collie, but still great.
8) Let Me Give The World To You: a long and wild cover, I think.
9) Perfect: acoustic and beautiful version
10) Tonight Tonight: acoustic but we were still jumping
11) Stumbleine: I liked it
12) Bullet With Butterfly Wings: very different from the album but it made harm to all of us nonetheless.
13) Shame: we needed some rest
14) For Martha: this is beautiful on the cd, even greater and longer live. Billy you are great.
The Pumpkins returned for more:
15) 1979: a fast and so preeeetty version.
16) Blank Page: I was disappointed when they started this song, but then (as To Sheila), I recognized that it gains new life in the live version. It was beautiful.
17) Transmission: furious and 15 minutes long Joy Division cover.
In the end, I liked the show very much, more than the Adore album, which it taste to quiet for me, though packed with some great songs.
