Definitely yesterdy night was the best show i've ever seen and i think i'll ever see, it was so incredebly awesome, well it all started at 9 am when we drove from Westminster, MD (5 hours away from Pittsburgh) towards the amazing show, and it even took more time that what we were waiting for because one lane in the highway was close when we were about 8 miles from Pittsburgh, so just that last 8 miles took us about 1 hour!. Finally we get there around 3 pm and there's about 70 people on the line before us, but we were lucky cause we had this tiny little spot where was this roof so we were safe from the rain! :) about 5 pm the silver bus arrived and because there was only two doors on Metropol (one on the front side, and the second one by the side of the first one!) we could see the Pumpkins as they were getting of the bus and getting in the club, first was Billy with Jimmy, and nobody recognized Jimmy because of his new short blond hair, and then James left the bus, and finally D'arcy. The doors opened about 6:15 pm a little bit late cause they said they were going to open the doors at 6 but it was just 15 minutes, and one of the security jerks found that I had my camera hidden in my pants, even when it was on my nuts the asshole found it so he took it and put it on a box outside the place, but anyway the people that could get in their cameras couldn't do anything cause all of the security people were the biggest jerks in the world and as soon as they saw a flash they were there screaming "give me the camera or i will take you out!" fucking assholes, that sucked that almost nobody could take pictures of the show. Well around 6:45 Queens of the stone age came out and play as soon as they came out, the guy in vocals just said "we are queens of the stone age" and started playing, and by the way, i always thought that it wasn't fair how everybody was saying that they sucked and all that stuff in the previous reviews, i personally have never heard them before, but i realized that it was true! they sucked fat dick man, the only cool thing about them was this guy that played that weird thing like a guitar on a table, but besides that everything was pretty bad, all the same rythm and the same kind of music... it just sucked, nobody was really moving or anything, but we clapped after they played each song and stuff so they don't feel too bad. After Queens we had to wait about 30 or 40 minutes with this classical music, it was getting annoying but finally the Pumpkins came out and by that time i was in a not too bad third row, everybody was cheering for them and finally happy to see them, they didn't say anything, and Jimmy started playing the drum intro of I Am One, and everybody just went crazy with that and then all the awesome show started, then inmediately Billy started playing the riff of Zero and again the people went nuts, and they didn't say anything until i think after La Dolly Vita when Billy said something like "we are the smashing pumpkins, i guess you know about us, and here are som new songs" it wasn't exactly like that but it was something alike, and then they played the new songs that fucking rocked!, and i don't remember in wich one it was, but they messed up and Billy just started laughing and then they started again and then Billy couldn't sing cause he was laughing his ass off (it's getting like a rutine huh?) James just put his arms in the air like saying "damn why can't we do it!" and D'arcy was just pissed and said something to Billy and looked him like telling him "fuck off!" at the end of the song Billy apologized to everybody saying "sorry that was very unprofessional" and then D'arcy looking really pissed said in the mic "Being part of a band is also being professional" or something like that. Oh, and by the way i forgot to say how they were wearing, but i guess you all know, Jimmy was in black shorts, and a black sleevless t-shirt, Billy with his classic black suit, D'arcy was wearing a cowboy hat, jeans, and a red t-shirt with silver stars all over, and James was with a sparkley shirt and black pants i think. After the new songs they played Cash Car Star that was much better with Jimmy on drums, then a new heavier version of Ava Adore, and after that a slow version with no distortion of Today that was pretty cool. Then they left stage and when they came back they started with Muzzle and i just went completely crazy, i knew that was going to be the next song, but i just went totally nuts cause it's one of my favorite songs of the Pumpkins, just one of the thousands of favorites, i just screamed so hard when i heard Billy starting with "I fear that I am ordinary..." it was the most exciting moment of the concert at least for me, and then they played Soma that was another really cool part of the show, everybody sang along with Billy it was just awesome, then they left and came back James started singing some weird song and billy was playing guitar, but i think it all was a joke, cause it lasted like 30 secs, then they played new songs and then they left again and came back for the 3rd encore and everybody knew what was going to happen, James again screamed on the mic something like "are you ready to rock?" and Jimmy started the snare intro of Geek USA, awesome song and again everybody just went crazy, they just rocked in this song they played it perfectly, that's awesome cause it is such a difficult song, but the good musicians they are helped a lot! at the end Billy just said things like "thanks a lot, god bless you all" and started throwing pics to the crowd, i almost grabbed one! but it was too high so i just couldn't take it! :( Well that was the best showi have ever been, and it was really crazy, i saw like at least 15 people that the guards had to take out cause they were suffocated or something, but besides that everthing was awesome, the only bad thing of the night was the fucking assholes motherfuckers of the security people that didn't let anybody take pics, and took all the cameras away. After the show the t-shirts were going for 25 and 30 dollars each, and they were awesome! i bought one and it's pretty cool, and the posters were 10, and all the queen's things were cheaper but anyway nobody bought anything of them. Well the final phrase is as simple as THE SHOW FUCKING ROCKED! That's all, thanks. pichudequito@hotmail.com
