Details about the Contest Now we all know the title of the new album 'Adore', I thought it would be great to have this as a theme for the latest contest. All you need to do is design the artwork for the New Album. (This is NOT going to be used by the Band, only for fun in this contest). You will have till the end of March 1998, when I will judge all the entries and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes to the best. All entries will be posted on this page as and when they are submitted with email links to the creators.

Rules 1. The artwork you design must be 12 cm x 12 cm (340 pixels x 340 pixels at 72 dpi) Click Here To See Sample and must either be a jpeg, jpg or gif file. (no other file types will be allowed) 2. The artwork must be original (not another bands cover) 3. You may submit as many different versions as you wish 4. All entries must include your Name, Email Address and Postal Address including country, for the prizes to be send to, should you win! 5. All entries must be emailed to this address ~~adore@smashing-pumpkins.net~~ 6. Lastly don't forget designs with band members faces and images from other covers are not really original and will not stand much chance of winning. 7. If your image does not conform to these rules it will be instantly discarded. (so those peolpe emailing 1MB 900 pixels x 900 pixels at 300dpi images you will not be entered)

So get designing and email them in when they are complete, checking that you have complied with the rules above.
